I heard half of the Italian team are being questioned by FIFA...?
Apparently they think the match against Australia was "fixed" I dont know but it would make alot of sense since Italy played so poorly and wouldve never have won if it wasnt for that bias b******d of a referee
Answer on I heard half of the Italian team are being questioned by FIFA...?
The match fixing allegations refer to the Italian domestic league and not any of the current World Cup matches.
Teams involved include Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina.
Twenty-six unnamed people (but no players) are also set to stand trial.
As a result the Italian Football League president Adriano Galliani has resigned but said he has done nothing wrong.

I want to change but i can't?
My parents are very family oriented and they're happy people. I'm happy too but I don't really show it, i'm quiet and my parents are tired of it. I want to talk to them and have conversations and bond with them but I don't have anything to say. They tell me how different i act around my friends, i act happy and i talk. Now my mom said she's tired of me and she hasn't been speaking to me. My parents are sending me to Italy, my home country at the end of the school year because of the way I am. I don't want to go there I want to stay with them and my little brother and sister here. What can I say to show them that I want to change and actually change?
please help I'm really confused.
Answer on I want to change but i can't?
It is hard to believe that parents will send their child away because they are not outgoing enough. Your question doesn't give a lot of facts, like, how old are you? Is there maybe another reason, like they want you to experience their home country or the world?
If you want to have more conversations with your parents, then look for things to talk about. Read the news, remember incidents at school and ask their opinion on them, talk about your future, crack a joke. It takes two to have a conversation, and they are pushing you to be a more outgoing person.

Question about FC Torino and Superga?
Had it not been for the Superga Air Disaster in 1949 which killed the entire Torino squad, do you think that FC Torino would be one of the big clubs in Italy today?
For those who aren't familiar, this squad won 5 scudetti between 1942-1949 and was attracting top class players.
Answer on Question about FC Torino and Superga?
Torino still played well after the incident. Even though the original squad all died, you cant say that they have played bad in the past years. They are 7th in the all time Serie A Table. Which is pretty amazing. They are in front of teams like, Napoli, Sampdoria, Udinese, Palermo and so on.

Where to get info on the history of northern italy's food?
Having a hard time trying to find anything on northern ital's food history. I either get something on the history of the country itself or on today's food I can't win please help
Answer on Where to get info on the history of northern italy's food?
Like Germany, Italy was not a single country until the 1860s. Therefore, you would probably have to do a lot more research into the culinary history of various duchies, principalities, kingdoms and other fiefdoms. The site referenced below has one of the nicest explanations and histories I have ever read.

How can I tell if a flintlock pistol is safe for firing or a replica?
I have a flintlock that was purchased some time ago and am told it is a firing model and not just a replica. The pistol is brass handled with what appears to be a steel barrel. So far as I can tell it has all the necessary pieces and has printed on the side of the barrel "Black powder only .58 cal made in Italy". Any tips from flintlock pistol lovers would be great.
Answer on How can I tell if a flintlock pistol is safe for firing or a replica?
I wouldn't do it if you don't have the right powder you have a nice bomb in your hand waiting to go off when you pull the trigger. You have too have the exact powder it was made to shoot.

2 weeks in Europe - Want to help me out with some things? ;)?
Next year in March, I will be traveling to Europe with my mom (I'll be 16). There is no exact dates, or bookings YET. My mom is married to my dad, but he won't be going because he says he hates traveling, so it'll just be us 2. And maybe my brother, but he isn't sure yet because he doesn't know if he'll have the money. So as of now its just me and my mom - its my birthday present - you know 16's? : )
These are the places I'm going to - Germany, France, and Italy. And thats in order of importance. Meaning Germany is most important to me, followed by France, etc.
We'll be leaving from South East in the U.S and landing in Germany first, then planning on taking a train to France, and then Italy.
So far I have planned:
Germany - 5 days
France - 4 or 5 days
Italy - 3 or 4 days (depends on how many days in France)
In France, I want to visit the Mona Lisa, Disneyland Paris, Eiffel Tower of course! Arch of Triumph, Palace of Versailles - anything I'm missing or other recommendations I MUST see? Any shopping places?
In Germany I would like to visit the cathedral in Colonge, the castle, etc. theres alot of places I'd like to visit, I just can't remember the actual names :( Help?
In Italy I want to visit the leaning tower of Pisa, and again I'm forgetting the names... bare with me its 3:38am xD
Theres so much I want to do. I won't be renting a car, thats out of the question because my mom doesn't want to drive, so please don't even ask me.. I've begged her but she is absolutely not wanting to drive. So I guess we'll be doing trains? We want to stay at good hotels, and hostels are out of the question - we don't want to stay at super expensive hotels but somewhere in the price range of 100-160USD a night.
If there are any tips you can throw in or any thing at all I'd find helpful, please feel free to share! And don't feel guilty to answer all questions. I'm glad if you can answer just 1 at least. Thanks for your time and I look forward to reading your answers! :]

There are tons of guide books and websites that can help you with things to see & do in the various places you're looking at. I would highly recommend taking a Rhine River cruise if you're going to be in the area around Cologne. You'll see lots of castles, especially between Mainz and Koblenz.
A good place here in Italy for a base would be Florence if you want to see the Leaning Tower. There's a night train from Paris to Florence that's an excellent way of getting there. You can sleep through the night in a berth and arrive early within a short walking distance of the Duomo and rest of the historical section of Florence. There's a lot to see and do. Pisa is an easy and inexpensive day trip on the train. I would highly recommend that you go to Pisa fairly early, walk from the station to the tower and then go back to the train station and continue on for another 20-25 minutes to see Lucca for the rest of the day. There's more to see & do in the historic walled part of Lucca than in Pisa.
It's too early to tell what the specific schedules and prices will be when you're here, but you can get an idea of what it is now at the train websites. The German site is excellent for finding schedules throughout Europe: http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en… . You'll need individual country websites to price trips that don't include Germany though. The Italian site is here: http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepag… There are often very good deals on train tickets for buying in advance. The cheaper prices sell out fast though.
This is the site I've been using for booking hotels in the parts of Europe you're contemplating: http://www.venere.com/ . You can narrow down to a specific area of a city and sort by price, rating or other criteria. Prices will depend a lot on exactly when you plan to be in a given city.
I've lived in northern Italy and rarely drive when going out exploring. The trains are a great way to get around. There are also good budget airline options for longer distances. You shouldn't need these, but two good resources for flights are: http://www.skyscanner.net/ and http://www.whichbudget.com/en/

How can I get a Visa electronic card in Italy(pavia)? what is Elv Card?
I have a card from banca popolare. I dont know it is good for buy in internet or no?
Answer on How can I get a Visa electronic card in Italy(pavia)? what is Elv Card?
ELV stands for Electronic Lastschrift Verfahren:
"More commonly know as Bankeinzug or Lastschrift, ELV is the main payment method in Germany. It works in a similar way to Direct Debit and has had a paper equivalent for decades."
http://www1.netbanx.com/content/en/elv_p…
Anyway all banks issue cards suitable for buying on the internet; the easier way is going to a post office and asking for a PostePay card.

Where can I find good cat food in Italy?!?
So I've just moved my cats to Tuscany (in Italy) and I am really dismayed at the food choices here. 1st of all one of my cats is diabetic, so it is VERY important that he has good quality food. Meaning NO sugars, high protein, and no veggis or gluten. I asked the lady at the pet shop, if they had any gluten free cat food and she looked at me like I just arrived from Mars. Please, can ANYONE help me?
Brands, stores, anything will help.
Thanks!
Answer on Where can I find good cat food in Italy?!?
I am in the United States so I really cannot advise you on Italian cat food brands.
I did notice when visiting Europe and UK mail order pet supply companies' sites that they have a much narrower selection of high-quality cat foods. But they do exist and you can get them if you are willing to mail order. Here is an example of a decent food (I would go easy on the fish varieties):
http://www.mpmproducts.co.uk/
If you do not want to mail order you could prepare a raw diet for your cats at home. Here is a site that can help you. There is also information on diet for diabetic cats:
http://www.catinfo.org
Update: Here is one other food that seems decent:
http://www.almo.it/

Poll: If you could visit one city in the world, which city would you chose and why?
I would chose Florence, Italy because I really like renaissance architecture.
Answer on Poll: If you could visit one city in the world, which city would you chose and why?
Very good choose. I live in Tuskany and Florence is the most famous city in Tuskany... Nice travel and don't forget to see Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo of Florence, the Uffizi Gallery... also Pisa or Siena are good in Tuskany, expecially for art and architecture. If you search architecture, Pienza (Tuskany) is a really good Reinassance example.
PS: In Italian Reinassance is "Rinascimento"... :P CIAO (Bye)

Where Kubica gonna be next year?
Is he gonna stay in BMW-Sauber or if he will move is it gonna be Ferrari (he spent a lot of time in Italy in the past).
Also how much chanceses r u giving him to win this year F1 Championship
Answer on Where Kubica gonna be next year?
If you follow the rumor mill, that makes it a very crowded team at Ferrari next year, what with Kimi and Felipe having to share time with Alonso and Kubica!
He seems like a great talent, and maybe a Ferrari or Mclaren will jump and try to do something if he actually winds up on the market. But, I don't see either wanting to create too many waves with the talented driver lineups they already have.
Which leaves BMW as the other remaining choice among the teams that currently look to be competitive... and the team that already has the inside run at getting him. I'd consider this the most likely landing place, with BMW doing whatever it takes to keep him, and then looking for a teammate for him other then Heidfield.
The only outside team I could imagine taking a run at him would be Honda. As they move into the first year of all Ross Brawn led development, there is a good chance Honda will be planning to move towards being competitive and maybe they will make both a big money offer and a convincing argument that they could bring a championship to the right driver.
But odds on, I'd expect he'll be back with BMW after being mentioned in news reports for just about every team on grid.
Also how much chanceses r u giving him to win this year F1 Championship
Answer on Where Kubica gonna be next year?

Do I need a visa to go to Europe if I am a permanent resident (2 yr only) of united States.?
I am still a citizen of Colombia...but became a permanent resident of USA...please help I am planning a trip to France and Italy...
Answer on Do I need a visa to go to Europe if I am a permanent resident (2 yr only) of united States.?
Yes, you will need ONE visa for your trip to France and Italy. Where you have to apply for the visa depends on your travel plans. If you stay longer in France then you will have to apply for it at a France consulate; if your stay in Italy should be longer you'll need to apply at an Italian consulate. Planning to stay equal time in both countries you'll need to apply at the consulate of the country you plan to visit first.
Your permanent residency in the United States does not count for Europe nor does your Colombian citizenship waive the visa requirement.

Is italy a poor country?
I heard the country is poor,no doubt they have beautiful sructures.
true?
Answer on Is italy a poor country?
Italy is by no stretch of the imagination poor. Relative to most of the world, Italy is in fact wealthy.
One of the best measures for relative wealth is GDP / Capita. This measure is the economic output of the country (GDP) divided by the country's population. Italy's GDP is $28,534. This means, that on average, Italy makes $28K / year for every man woman and child. For example, a family of four, in theory, will have over $100K in income. There is of course a major limitation to this metric - see below, but this measure strongly correlates to the overall economic welfare of a country and its citizens. This is a link to the rankings of GDP / capita.

Italy's ranking places them between France and Singapore. When you think of the poverty stricken nations of the world, these two countries do not come to mind.
The one weakness of the measure is that wealth is not evenly distributed. There may be 1% of the population that receives 99% of the income. In this extreme case, most of the country would be poor with a few fabulously wealthy individuals. In my own case I live in the US which has a GDP / Capita of 41,000 or so. That means my family of four if we are average would be brining in 164,000 a year - I am in the upper middle class and I am not particularly close to that figure. In fact, the median household income in the US is "only" $42,000 or so (if memory serves). This provides some evidence of disparity in wealth in the United States. In fact, although the US ranks 3rd in per capita income, it is lower than Thailand - which ranks at only #69 in GDP/capita - in the percentage of people below the poverty line (US is 12% below poverty, Thailand only 10%.) Poverty defined as the minimum income to pay for minimal housing, clothing and food requirements.
Unfortunately poverty data on Italy is not readily available. However Western Europe as a region does quite well in this particular metric, and Italy on most economic metrics is typical of Western Europe standards.
Italy was once a poor country, but post WWII has caught up with Western standards and has one of the most dynamic economies in Western Europe at this time. So the answer is a big NO - Italy is not a poor country.
