I know the country code for Italy is 39 and that is what I dial but it keeps telling me that it cannot dial to 39 and to check my country code. It is using up my money each time I try.
Answer on I cannot call out to Italy because itkeeps telling me to check the country code and I do. I dial the right #?
Yahoo! Voice attempts to have dialing be just like dialing from a regular telephone. Therefore, it is different from each country as each country has its own IDD number (The IDD number - the international access prefix - is the first set of numbers). The IDD from the US is 011 but it is 002 from Taiwan. Therefore, the simplest way to make the call from ANYWHERE is to use the plus (+) key. Just dial +39 followed by the remaining numbers in the telephone number. There is a help page that fully explains how to dial located at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messeng…
If you continue to have trouble after trying the +39 method I suggested, then contact the support team via Live Chat. It is a new support method offered just for Yhaoo! Voice users. Go to http://voice.yahoo.com/voice_help.php and click on 'Live Chat help' located on the right side of the screen. Agents are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Studying abroad in Venice, Italy?
I'm studying abroad in Venice Italy next summer for six weeks. Can anyone tell me how worth is this trip? Is there a lot to do/see in Venice? Nightlife? What can I expect? I don't know any important info you think I should know :) Thanks!
Answer on Studying abroad in Venice, Italy?
Venice is a wonderful place to visit and study. There are some nice museums and galleries; just wandering the canals and bridges you'll come across some interesting things. Particularly in the summer, Venice can be packed with tourists. If you do come, plan on being in the city for Il Redentore in mid July. It's one of the larger festivals and features an excellent fireworks display and huge party in the Bacino. There are various interesting exhibitions, concerts and festivals in the city throughout the year. Next summer, the Biennale will be running. Venice is also one of the most expensive places here in Italy. It's not known for nightlife, but there are some decent clubs.
Venice has good train connections to other places in Italy and there are some good day trips available. Florence is only a couple of hours on the train and Verona, Padova, Ferrara, Bologna, Garda Lake and Treviso are all interesting and accessible. There are night trains to Paris or Vienna that can be good opportunities for a weekend excursion - especially if you book ahead and get the discounted "smart price".

Answer on I want to be citizen of other contrie ! how can i do it ?
I guess the most possible way is to apply for a work permit to the desired country and keep renewing it each year and for many years until there is an opportunity to apply for legal resident status.

What would you say if I..?
sang you this song on our 5th year anniversary and asked you to marry me?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O31akOzQV…
[Postcards From Italy - Beirut]
The times we had
Oh, when the wind would blow with rain and snow
We're not all bad
We put our feet just where they had, had to go
Never to go
The shattered soul
Following close but nearly twice as slow
In my good times
There were always golden rocks to throw
at those who admit defeat too late
Those were our times, those were our times
And I will love to see that day
That day is mine
When she will marry me outside with the willow trees
And play the songs we made
They made me so
And I would love to see that day
Her day was mine
Answer on What would you say if I..?
i would very much like that!

What are Italy's views towards sex and sex education?
I am asking this because the area of the U.S. that I am living in is predominantly Catholic and teaches abstinence-only sex education. I have looked in the back of the book in health class and have found nothing on abortion, condoms, or contraception. In fact, in one presentation, somebody said that the condom fail rate can be up to 30%, which is completely false. Despite all of this, there are quite a bit of teenage mothers, and there is a building in the school specifically designed to watch over the students' children while the students are at school. Also, in the same presentation, somebody said that pornography increases sexual violence, which is also false; pornography is just a way to relieve sexual tension, which may actually decrease sexual violence.
Since Italy is also predominantly Catholic (98%) and contains the Vatican, the center of Catholicism, I am wondering what Italian sex education is like and how they view sex-related matters such as contraception, pornography, etc. Also, how many teenagers get pregnant in Italy?
Answer on What are Italy's views towards sex and sex education?
In Italy there are some catholic schools and public non-confessional schools. Sex is usually not dealed in schools. Italy is a free country, so everyone is free to be Catholic or not, and how live one's sexual life.
Freedom and democracy are so. They don't consist of persecuting religions or of despicing Catholics or other believers, but of accepting those who think unlike you.

Does anyone know why Fabio Cannavaro has "Andrea" tattoed on his arm?
"Andrea" is a man's name in Italy (Andreina is the feminine version), making it an unusual choice for a footballer. I'm just wondering if he's gay, homophilic, or maybe has a German or an American sweetheart. Anyone have any clues?
Answer on Does anyone know why Fabio Cannavaro has "Andrea" tattoed on his arm?
Andrea is his sons name!

Can I become a varsity-level baseballer in a year?
Hey Americans I need your help!
I'm going to be an exchange student to the USA next year and I would like to play baseball there because I really like it and so on.
If I start practicing in September, can I become a varsity baseballer next year?
What do you advise me to do to improve my play?
The problem is that I live in Italy and there's only a baseball pitch near my town.
I would really appreciate any kind of advice...I would be pleased if you give me your email in order to get more advice.
Thanks a lot

Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet Prolgue Explication.?
Write a paragraph predicting what will happen in the play using actual refrences to this prologue **example. It will take place in Verona, Italy "In fair Verona, where we lay our scene." (2)
Prologue
Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break money to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean,
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Who misadventure piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their paretns' strife.
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their paretns' rage,
Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.
Thanks all

Answer on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet Prolgue Explication.?
The story telling genius, playwright and poet, William Shakespeare, intrigues us with a brief summary of his tragic play, Romeo and Juliet, in his opening paragraph.
Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona, where we lay our scene is telling that this story takes place in Verona, Italy, and that the story includes two households or families that are in the same wealthy class. The word dignity implies, though we are not sure for certain, that these families are of the upper class.
From ancient grudge break money to new mutiny, where civil blood makes civil hands unclean, From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, is letting us know that these two families have had financial strife for many years, and that these disputes have spilled over into fighting between these two families. Because of this fighting something tragic is going to happen.
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life: Here we have a young pair of soulmates that fall in love and somehow take their life, though we do not know exactly how this comes to be. William Shakespeare was brilliant with this line----no matter what your station in life is, rich or poor, educated or uneducated, it is human nature to long for one's soulmate. This is were he grabs the attention of the audience.
Who misadventure piteous overthrows Do with their death bury their parents' strife, The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love, and the continuance of their parents; rage Which but their children's end, nought could remove: Here he is telling us that the children's death is so tragic and moving it has a profound impact on the two families.
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage: the which if you with patient ears attend, What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend: Is saying, pull out the box of tissues because you are about to hear the greatest love story of all time. The audience shall pay attention; for William Shakespeare knows the hearts of men and women, young and old that we all are just a little bit like the star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet.
Oh dear, you said paragraph---I got a little carried away as I just love this play! Sorry!
